President Abbas affirms priority of confronting colonist terrorism

President Mahmoud Abbas emphasized Saturday that combating terrorist crimes perpetrated by Israeli colonist militias against our people, land, and holy sites remains a top priority for the Palestinian leadership.

The President made these remarks as he received representatives from several villages and towns in the Ramallah and Nablus governorates this evening, which have been affected by terror attacks carried out by both Israeli colonist militias and occupation forces.

He stated that the leadership has been reaching out to all regional and international stakeholders to confront colonist terrorism, combat their crimes, and hold them accountable.

The President added that instructions have been issued to all Palestinian embassies worldwide to highlight this issue and convey the suffering of our people to all international institutions, organizations, and governments.

President Abbas asked the government and all relevant authorities to immediately provide all necessary support to bolster the resilience of Palestinian citizens on their land in the face of these terrorist crimes perpetrated by colonists.

He affirmed that “our only option is resilience and remaining steadfast on our land, identity, and cause, regardless of the sacrifices,” commending “the peaceful popular resistance witnessed in these villages against the terrorism and extremism represented by colonists.”
