Israeli airstrikes on Gaza kill multiple civilians, injure others

A number of civilians were killed and others injured this evening in Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling targeting central and southern Gaza, while invading Israeli ground forces blew up and destroyed entire residential blocks in Khan Yunis in the south of the enclave.

In Gaza City, local sources reported that at least two civilians were killed and several others injured in an Israeli shelling targeting a residential building west of the city.

In Khan Yunis, the bodies of four martyrs were brought to the European Hospital in the city, after the four had fallen victim to the ongoing Israeli artillery shelling in the province.

Meantime, Israeli occupation forces fired white phosphorus bombs on the Qizan Al-Najjar village south of Khan Yunis. Furthermore, they carried out airstrikes in the vicinity of the Abu Yousef Al-Najjar Hospital east of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.

Simultaneously, a missile targeted the Al-Antar Tower in the Old Gaza Street in Jabalia town, north of the Gaza Strip.

Israeli occupation forces further besieged several schools sheltering thousands of displaced individuals west of Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood in Gaza City. Meanwhile, there are reports that Israeli troops are blowing up residential blocks in the town of Bani Suheila, east of Khan Yunis.

The ongoing Israeli war of genocide on Gaza since October 7 has claimed the lives of at least 24,500 Palestinians, with the majority being innocent civilians, including children and women. In addition, over 2 million people have been displaced from multiple areas of the territory to Rafah in the farthest south of the enclave.
