Israeli occupation forces open fire at farmers and herders in the Gaza Strip, force them to leave the area

Israeli occupation forces today opened fire at Palestinian farmers and herders in the south and central Gaza Strip, forcing them to leave the area, reported WAFA correspondent.

He said soldiers stationed at the borders near Khan Yunis in the south of the Gaza Strip opened fire at agricultural land east of the town of Abasan, forcing farmers working in their lands to leave the area.

In the central Gaza Strip, soldiers also opened fire at herders east of Deir al-Balah, also forcing them to take their sheep and leave the area.

There were no reports of injuries in both incidents.

Israeli forces regularly open fire at Palestinians who come within several hundred meters from the border fence between Gaza and Israel, whether to work on their lands or to herd their cattle.
