Saudi Arabia transferred $30.8 million to the Palestinian Authority’s treasury as part of its financial aid to the Palestinian budget, Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to Egypt, Ahmad Qattan, said on Sunday.
He said in a statement that Saudi Arabia has committed to support the Palestinian Authority’s budget with $7.7 million a month. The $30.8 covers the period from April through July.
Saudi Arabia will continue to support the Palestinian cause on the political, humanitarian and economic levels, he said.
