Israeli forces detain 20 Palestinians in East Jerusalem, West Bank

JERUSALEM – Israeli forces Thursday detained at least 20 Palestinians, including several minors, during multiple overnight raids in East Jerusalem and the West Bank, said Palestine Prisoner’s Society.

Israeli police detained at least 10 Palestinians, mostly minors, from East Jerusalem accused of throwing rocks at forces in their neighborhoods.

In the southern West Bank, forces detained two Palestinians after storming their homes in Idna, west of Hebron.

During subsequent raid in Yatta, south of Hebron, troops detained two Palestinians and ransacked a number of homes and two blacksmith workshops.

Troops also raided Fawwar refugee camp near Hebron and detained one Palestinian while seizing mobile devices and computers.

In the northern West Bank, troops detained two Palestinians during a raid into Nablus city and another one during a raid in the Jenin district.

Elsewhere in the northern West Bank, troops raided Amatin, east of Qalqiliya, detaining one Palestinian after ransacking his home.

Two more Palestinians were detained in separate raids in Tulkarem and Salfit districts.
