DAILY SITUATION REPORT

WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS
• Since 17:00 on 04/05/2023, the occupation forces imposed a complete closure on the governorates of the West Bank and the crossings with the Gaza Strip on the occasion of the “Passover” among the Jews, and prevented citizens and workers, including permit holders, from entering
The city of Jerusalem and Israel, with the exception of diplomatic and international missions, humanitarian cases and emergency medical cases after prior coordination thereof, until 24:00 on 04/08/2023.
• On the morning of 04/09/2023, the occupying forces renewed the complete closure until 24:00 on 04/12/2023.

JERUSALEM
Raid
1. On 11/4/2023, the occupation forces raided Shuafat camp, raided a number of homes, and arrested 2 citizens, including a woman.
2. On the evening of 11/4/2023, a force of the occupation army stormed the town of Al-Isawiya, where clashes took place with the citizens as the occupation forces surrounded a house in the town, and they fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas, and arrested a citizen after raiding his house.
3. At 10:00, the occupation forces raided the town of Al-Eizariya and conducted a patrol.
4. At 11:00, the occupation forces raided the area surrounding Al-Quds University in the town of Abu Dis and conducted a patrol.

Detention
1. At 05:30,the occupation forces detained the citizen Yaqoub Matar – residents of the town of Al-Ram.
2. At 09:30, the occupation forces detained the citizen Moufid Al-Abbasi from the town of Ras Al-Amud.
3. At 11:00,the occupation forces detained 3 citizens: Nafisa Khwais, Muhammad Abu Al-Hummus and Nizam Abu Ramoz from the city of Jerusalem.
4. At 15:00,the occupation forces detained Abdul Razzaq Mustafa from the town of Al-Isawiya.
5. At 16:30, the occupation forces detained 2 citizens while they were in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque: Ayoub and Yaqoub Abu Alia – residents of the town of Al-Mughayer.
6. At 17:00,the occupation forces detained the citizen, Saleh Al-Fakhouri, near Al-Aqsa Mosque.
7. At 20:00,the occupation forces detained the citizen, Nasser Nofal, from inside the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
8. At 03:25,the occupation forces detained the citizen, Khaled Dawas – a resident of Nablus, while he was in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
9. The two detainees in Shuafat camp (their identities have not been identified).
10. The detainee in the town of Al-Isawiya (whose identity has not been known)

Deportation
1. At 13:00, the occupation forces handed the citizen Ibrahim Al-Khalil a military order to deport him from Al-Aqsa Mosque for a period of 6 months.
2. At 16:00, the occupation forces handed the citizen Yazan Khamis a military order to deport him from Al-Aqsa Mosque for a month.

Obstruction of Places of Worship
At 07:30, groups of extremist settlers, under the protection of the occupation police, stormed the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and conducted provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities, amid a state of strict measures against citizens.

2. At 10:00, groups of settlers were present in the Ein Qinya area, and later withdrew.
3. At 13:25, groups of settlers gathered near the “Beit El” area, and threw stones at vehicles passing by.
At 21:20, a group of settlers, under the protection of the occupation forces, stormed the town of Deir Dibwan, where clashes broke out with the citizens, during which the occupation forces fired fire, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas at the citizens.

JENIN
Raid
1. At 15:40, the occupation forces raided the villages of Rummana and Zabuba, and conducted a patrol.
2. At 17:05, the occupation forces raided the village of Al-Jalama and conducted a patrol.
3. At 22:15, the occupation forces raided the village of Kivert and conducted a patrol.

The 2 civilians (including a Security Force Officer): Saud Abdullah Saeed al-Titi (a freed prisoner) and the citizen Muhammad Ghazi Abu Dira’ – residents of Balata camp were killed after occupation forces opened fire towards their vehicle after chasing it during thgeir raid into the village of Deir al-Hatab, east of Nablus.

Injuries
The civilian: Ammar al-Tayyan was injured after he suffered a gunshot wound to the hand in the village of Deir al-Hatab.

Flying Checkpoints
1. At 16:55, the occupation forces set up a military checkpoint at the junction of Deir Sharaf town, to search cars and verify citizens’ identities. The checkpoint was removed at a later time.

2. At 11:35 and again at 14:20, the occupation forces set up a military checkpoint at the northern entrance to the city of Jericho, to search cars and verify citizens’ identities.

BETHLEHEM
Raid
1. At 08:50, the occupation forces raided the Abu Najim area, stormed the house of Ghaleb Al-Harimi, and arrested his son.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

* Shejaiya Crossing – “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH
Closure of Crossing Points
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom – Kerem Shalom Crossing: On 04/11/ 2022, it is partially open (for the entry of limited quantities of fuel and fuel for the power plant, fodder, foodstuffs, and medical materials).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: On 04/11/ 2022 is open in both directions (for citizens to leave and enter).
