DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 9th April 2023-08:00, 10th April 2023

WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS
• Since 17:00 on 04/05/2023, the occupation forces imposed a complete closure on the governorates of the West Bank and the crossings with the Gaza Strip on the occasion of the “Passover” among the Jews, and prevented citizens and workers, including permit holders, from entering
The city of Jerusalem and Israel, with the exception of diplomatic and international missions, humanitarian cases and emergency medical cases after prior coordination thereof, until 24:00 on 04/08/2023.
• On the morning of 04/09/2023, the occupying forces renewed the complete closure until 24:00 on 04/12/2023.

JERUSALEM
Detention
1. At 40:21, the occupying forces arrested 2 citizens near the Bab Al-Asbat area: Adel Al-Rajabi and Subhi Al-Rajabi.
2. At 21:30, the occupying forces arrested the citizen Bassam Abu Nab – residents of the town of Silwan.
3. On 4/9/2023, the occupation forces arrested the citizen Yazan Mahmoud Erekat near the town of Abu Dis.

Deportation
On 4/9/2023, the occupation forces issued a four-day house arrest order against the citizen Muhammad Al-Hashlamoun, deported him for 18 days from Al-Aqsa Mosque, and paid a fine of 500 shekels.

Obstruction of Places of Worship
At 10:30, groups of extremist settlers, under the protection of the occupation police, stormed the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and conducted provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities, amid a state of strict measures against citizens.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH
Raid
1. At 18:00, the occupation forces raided the Ain Ayoub area, west of Ramallah, where clashes took place with the citizens, during which the occupation forces fired fire, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas at citizens, injuring 2 citizens.
2. At 23:10, the occupation forces raided the town of Deir Dibwan and patrolled until 07:30.
3. At 05:40, the occupation forces raided the village of Kafr Nima and conducted a patrol.
4. At 06:20, the occupation forces raided the town of Beit Ur Al-Tahta and conducted a patrol.
5. At 06:45, the occupation forces raided the village of Safa and conducted a patrol.

Attack
At 6:00 PM, clashes occurred in the Ain Ayoub area, and as a result, the occupying forces used rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas against the citizens, causing injuries to two individuals.

Injuries
The two civilians: Adam Hamidi and Muhammad Abu Fakhida were injured during the clashes in Ain Ayoub.

Flying Checkpoints
1. At 09:10, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Nabi Saleh, to search cars and verify citizens’ identities.
2. At 10:00, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Deir Jarir, to search cars and verify citizens’ identities.
3. At 23:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the town of Sinjil, to search cars and verify citizens’ identities.

Settlers Attacks
1. At 10:10, a group of settlers was present in the lands of Ras Karkar village and uprooted a number of olive trees.

Military Checkpoints
At 20:35, the occupation forces intensified their procedures at the “Tayasir” checkpoint, stopping citizens’ vehicles and checking their identities.

TULKAREM
Raid
At 23:55, the occupation forces raided the towns of Anabta and Kafr al-Labad, and conducted a patrol.

QALQILIYA
Settlers Attacks
At 00:05, a group of settlers were near the “Kedumim” roundabout and attacked citizens’ vehicles passing by.

NABLUS
Military Checkpoints
At 16:15, the occupation forces intensified their procedures at the Beit Furik checkpoint, and worked to stop vehicles and check citizens’ identities.

Raid
1. At 08:30, the occupation forces raided the village of Sebastia and conducted a patrol.
2. At 15:05, the occupation forces raided the village of Qusin and conducted a patrol.
3. At 20:05, the occupation forces raided the village of Deir Sharaf and patrolled until 06:20.
4. At 18:35, the occupation forces raided the village of Salem and conducted a patrol until 06:20.
5. At 20:05, the occupation forces raided the village of Beit Furik and patrolled until 06:20.
6. At 22:55, the occupation forces raided the Ras Al-Ain area and conducted a patrol until 23:45.
7. At 04:00, the occupation forces raided the Northern Mountain area, surrounded a building and arrested a citizen, and the force continued to storm Al-Ain camp, where confrontations took place with the citizens, during which the occupation forces fired fire, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas at the citizens, which As a result, a civilian was injured, and it withdrew at 06:20.

Injuries
The civilian: Muhammad Al-Qatouni was injured (shrapnel in the head) during clashes with occupation forces in Al-Ain camp.

Flying Checkpoints
1. At 08:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the Al-Murabaa junction near the village of Tal Ezil, to search cars and check the identities of citizens at the checkpoint at a later time.
2. At 08:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the roundabout of the village of Deir Sharaf, to search cars and check the identities of citizens, and they also assaulted the citizen, Osama Imad Al-Masimi, 28 years old, resident of Balata camp.

At 14:20 and again at 18:00, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the city of Jericho, to search cars and verify citizens’ identities.

Detention
At 14:20, the occupation forces detained the citizen, Atta Zaid Sweidat, a resident of Al-Auja, while he was grazing sheep in the Al-Shallalat area.

Temporary Detention
At 01:15, the occupation forces detained Osama Abu Al-Assal -a Preventive Security Forces, and he was later released.

BETHLEHEM
Raid
At 00:10, the occupation forces raided the town of Al-Khader, clashed with the citizens, during which the occupation forces fired fire, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens, then withdrew at 02:15.

Flying Checkpoints
1. At 10:45, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Tuqu’, to search cars and verify citizens’ identities.
2. At 15:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the southern entrance to the town of Nahalin to search cars and verify citizens’ identities.

Confiscation of Property
At 19:00, the occupation forces of the so-called Nature Protection confiscated 10 heads of camels in the Manqoushia area, owned by the citizen: Ibrahim Khalil Muhammad Rashaida, under the pretext of grazing in a nature-protected area.

Attack
At 00:10, the occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens, during clashes that took place in the town of Al-Khader.

HEBRON
Raid
1. At 11:00, the occupation forces raided the town of Dora and conducted a patrol.
2. At 23:00, the occupation forces raided the Al-Qamra area, near the town of Dura, and conducted a patrol.
3. 00:50 , the occupation forces raided the town of Bani Naim and conducted a patrol.
4. At 06:50, the occupation forces raided Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron and conducted a patrol.
5. At 07:50, the occupation forces raided the town of Beit Ummar, stormed a house and detained him.

Detention
The detainee in the town of Beit Ummar is: Musab Alaa Ali Rashid Akhalil.

Settlers Attacks
At 14:05, a number of settlers, under the protection of the occupation forces, were present in the old town of Hebron and around the Ibrahimi Mosque.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS
• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.

NORTHERN GAZA
Closure of Crossing Points
Beit Hanoun Crossing – “Erez”: On 04/09/2023 it is closed (due to Jewish holidays).

Attack
On the evening of 9/4/2023, the occupation forces’ boats opened fire at the fishermen’s boats at sea, and no injuries were reported.

GAZA
Closure of Crossing Points
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing – “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH
Closure of Crossing Points
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom – Kerem Shalom Crossing: On 04/09/ 2022, it is partially open (for the entry of limited quantities of fuel and fuel for the power plant, fodder, foodstuffs, and medical materials).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: On 04/09/ 2022 is open in both directions (for citizens to leave and enter).
