The national Bureau for defending land and resisting settlements ( nbprs ) stated in its latest weekly report that , as expected, the Israeli Knesset approved in first reading a draft to amend the disengagement plan law that paved the way for the dismantling of settlements in Gaza Strip, and the evacuation of 4 settlements in the northern West Bank. This means that the far-right and fascist government of Netanyahu – Smotrich – Ben Gvir decided to move forward with the implementation of the coalition understandings and agreements, as well as, the Likud party, the Jewish Quarter and religious Zionism’s programs, which deal with the West Bank as the soul of the Jewish people, according to the claim of Benjamin Netanyahu.
The draft was supported by 40 Knesset members against, 17 opposition ‘out of 120r members’, then the draft to be voted on in the second and third readings in order for it to become a law . Thus, if approved, the decision to separate from the “Homesh”, “Ganim”, “Kadim” and “Sanor” settlements, which were dismantled in 2005 as part of the disengagement plan from Gaza in the same year, will be canceled.
This draft depends on cancelling the plan of disengagement that prevents the Israelis to live in the area where these settlements were located in the northern West Bank and the invalidity of the 23 – 27 items that restricts and prevents the entry and stay in the areas that were evacuated from a specific date as well as imposing penalties in this regard on the areas that were evacuated in the northern West Bank.
Which means that the Israeli government is heading to implement the ‘decisive plan’ and annexing the West Bank according to the Zionist Religious Party program and its leader, Smotrich, the plan that he publishd in 2017 when he was a Knesset member, but as he becomes the minister of security and in charge of ‘settlement deartment’ enables him to erase the green line, and based on myths, the plan suggests three alternatives to the Palestinians:
The first is to give up their civil rights and also their aspirations and dreams to allow them to live in the Jewish State, the second is that every Palestinian who wants to emigrate and accept the financial assistance to settle in the Arab countries, and the third is who refuses will be liquidated by the Israeli security forces.
In an unprecedented provocative step, the ‘Bidino Organization’ launched a campaign in which it urged its extremist followers to photograph the children of Jerusalem while playing football inside the Al -Aqsa Mosque and describe them as ‘criminals’.
The extremist organization called on its followers with a series of procedures to harass and try to intimidate children while playing inside the Al –Aqsa Mosque, which included photographing children and trying to investigate them to find out their names, and asking the occupation police to prevent them from playing football inside Al -Aqsa, and even urged settlers to threaten Jerusalem children to prison.
List of Israeli Assaults over the Last Week Documented by the National Bureau:
Jerusalem:
- Demolishing two residential buildings in the Um Tuba in the Sur Baher town, under the pretext of not having a building permit.
- Holding a demolition order of a house consisting of a room and its annexes in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in favor of the Israeli settlers under the pretext of being a Jewish property before 1948.
- Demolishing a brick factory that was build 50 years ago in the Wadi Al -Jawz neighborhood and seizing its equipment with the aim of seizing the land.
Hebron:
- Attacking the citizens in the Tuba and Al –Mafkra village in the Musafer Yatta, which causes injuries and bruises to a Palestinian citizen.
- Destroying agricultural crops for the people in the ‘Qaweis’ area.
- Storming the Ibrahimi Mosque, amid strict Israeli security measures, accompanied by the so -called ‘”Minister of Jerusalem and Jewish Heritage Affairs in the Israeli government, Amihai Eliao.
Bethlehem:
- Confiscating an area of 15 dunums in the Abu Al -Hassan area in the town of Al -Khader, south of
Bethlehem. - Refusing the appeal related to the freezing of a demolition order to the Tahdi 5 Mixed School in the Jab al-Deeb area, in the Bait Tamer, east of Bethlehem.
Ramallah:
- Attacking the family of Sadiq Farkhna near the village of Deir Jarir, east of Ramallah, and stealing 30 sheep and a donkey.
- Demolishing a house in the area of Deir Amar, west of Ramallah under the pretext of not having a building permit.
Nablus:
- Injuring 3 citizens with live bullets, and others with suffocation in the eastern area of Nablus, to secure the storming of scores of Israeli settlers to the Youssef Tomb, who performed Talmudic rituals under strict Israeli protection.
Salfeet:
- Attacking 2 Palestinian in the Bir Abu Amar area in the western side of the town of Qarawah Bani Hassan, and they were admitted to Yasser Arafat Hospital.
- Cutting down and breaking 170 olive trees in the villages of Yasuf and Al -Suwai.
- Handing over 2 notifications to Palestinian citizens, one of them is to demolish an industrial facility; the other is to stop working in an agricultural room in the western area of the town of Deir Balout, west of Salfit.
- Preventing land reclamation, and seizing a bulldozer on the western side of the Qarawah Bani Hassan town.
