Massive cheering crowds today received President Mahmoud Abbas at the northern entrance of al-Bireh city as he returned to Ramallah coming from New York, where he addressed the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
President Abbas arrived in New York last Sunday, where he delivered a speech before the UNGA and met with several world leaders and officials, and discussed with them the latest political developments in Palestine in light of the continued Israeli violations against the Palestinian people.
