Clashes break out in Silwan area of East Jerusalem, dozens suffocate

Dozens of Palestinians suffocated during clashes that broke out this evening between Israeli forces and Palestinians in the East Jerusalem town of Silwan, according to local sources.

Sources said clashes broke out in Ein al-Lozeh neighborhood in Silwan, during which Israeli forces fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters toward the neighborhood residents and their homes, leading to the outbreak of fire inside one of the houses.
