Confrontations erupt after Israeli soldiers break into Qalandia refugee camp

Palestinian youths today confronted Israeli soldiers who broke into Qalandia refugee camp, according to local sources.

The soldiers fired tear gas at the Palestinians causing at least 14 suffocation cases, all treated on the spot, according to the Red Crescent.

One person was detained by the army, said the sources.
