RAMALLAH, Saturday, February 13, 2021 – President Mahmoud Abbas today cabled Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi congratulating him on assuming his duties as the new prime minister and expressing hope for joint cooperation between them.
“In the name of the State of Palestine and its people, and on behalf of myself, we send you our heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of assuming your duties as Prime Minister of the Republic of Italy,” said President Abbas in his cable of congratulations.
“We are interested in working with the Italian Prime Minister, to strengthen the friendship and cooperation relationship that bring our people and countries together, and to open new horizons for them for the benefit of our peoples and our two friendly countries,” he said.
