Serbian leader meets Palestinian ambassador, affirms support for Palestine

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic received saturday the ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Republic of Serbia, Mohammad Nabhan, and discussed with him a number of files, including the Israeli annexation plan.

The Serbian leader affirmed his country’s support for the Palestinian people and leadership in the face of any unilateral Israeli move, including illegal annexation of the occupied Palestinian Territory.

Nabhan briefed the Serbian leader of the position of the Palestinian leadership against the so-called “deal of the century” plan, which legitimizes the Israeli theft of Palestinian land, and which has been publicly condemned and rejected by the leadership.

He also reiterated the readiness of the Palestinian leadership to resume serious peace negotiations under the umbrella of the United Nations and the International Quarters, on the basis of creating an independent Palestinian state on the borders of June 4, 1967.
