Tayseer Khaled: The International Quartet is lifeless, no use, let it alone

Tayseer Khaled, member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, member of the Political Bureau of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, called for not being drowned in betting on a political role for the International Quartet, after it had turned into a dead body that had decomposed and decayed, and must leave it alone, especially after being used by the American administration and used by the international envoy for peace process, Tony Blair, as a means to waste time, fraud and manipulation, which enabled Israel to continue its aggressive expansionist settlement policy and cover for its gross violations of human rights in the occupied Palestinian territories, without moving even once One over the years of its work to push Israel to respect the road map, which it adopted and made it the title of its policy for a political settlement to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict by the year 2005.
He added that betting on the role of the International Quartet, which Aaron Miller, member of the former American team for peace negotiations between the Palestinians and Israel during the era of US President Bill Clinton, said it was originally created to be a fantasy and fraud to persuade the Europeans, the Russian Federation and the Arabs to support the war that the American administration was preparing against Iraq in 2003.
He added It is a bet on illusion, as it will not constitute at all, starting from the experience that accompanied its work, one of the means of obstructing Israel’s tendency to start discussing arrangements for annexing areas in the West Bank to Israel and imposing Israeli sovereignty on accordingly, especially since the American administration and the Israeli occupation state are required to agree to It revived again that the US President’s vision of a political settlement, which has come to be known as the Century Deal, is on its agenda, and that the Palestinians are drawn into dealing with it through what the US administration calls to present proposals and amendments that the Palestinians see as appropriate to their interests.
To face of such a losing bet, Tayseer Khaled called for implementing what was decided by the recent leadership meeting at the presidential headquarters , in which President Mahmoud Abbas announced that the Palestine Liberation Organization and the State of Palestine had become in a solution of all agreements and understandings with the American and Israeli governments and from all the obligations based on these understandings, including security coordination , with all the necessary procedures and executive steps required in accordance with the decisions of the National Council in its session in April 2018 and the decisions of successive sessions of the Central Council, and stressed the necessity and importance of the various ministries in accordance with the cabinet decision to prepare their plans to disengage from Israeli side to present it to the council as soon as the holiday ends.
Khaled called on various ministries concerned to be ready at the same time to present these plans to public opinion as well, considering that the citizen is concerned with this matter, which entails costs that must be carried with all national responsibility and distribution of its burdens on all layers of the people and its national social groups, in addition to rebuild the military and security doctrine for all the organs of the PNA to anchor new rules that confirm its national role in providing security and safety for homeland and citizens away from all forms of military or security coordination with the occupation authorities and forces,
