President to meet premier, crown prince during state visit to Norway

President Mahmoud Abbas, who arrived in Norway last night, is scheduled to meet late today with Prime Minister Erna Solberg and tomorrow with Crown Prince Haakon at the Royal Palace.

Solberg is going to host President Abbas and his accompanying delegation at dinner tonight.

Tomorrow, he is scheduled to visit the Norwegian parliament, The Storting, and meet with its president, Tone Wilhelmsen Troen. He is also expected to make a statement at the parliament.

He will later travel to the Royal Palace for an audience with Crown Prince Haakon, the Acting Regent of Norway, before he leaves on Sunday ending a three-day state visit to Norway heading to New York where he will attend and address the United Nations General Assembly.
