Large area of Palestinian land in north of West Bank razed to expand illegal settlement

Israeli bulldozers razed today a large area of Palestinian land in the village of Hajjah, to the east of the occupied northern West Bank city of Qalqilya, according to Mohammad Abu al-Sheikh, who monitors settlement activities in Qalqilya district.

He told WAFA that the bulldozers razed 145 dunums of agricultural land to expand the nearby illegal Israeli industrial settlement of Karni Shomron.

Tahani al-Zuheidi, member of Hajjah village council, said large areas of the razed land are planted with olive trees and owned by five families.
