Israeli forces attack university students’ march to condemn abduction of council president

At least two Palestinians Monday were injured during clashes that broke out as Israeli forces attacked a students’ march at the northern entrance of al-Bireh city adjacent to Ramallah.

Clashes reportedly erupted after Israeli soldiers attacked a students’ march, which took off from central Ramallah towards the northern entrance of al-Bireh, to protest Israeli undercover agent’s abduction of the Student Council President Omar al-Kiswani from Birzeit university campus on March 7.

Birzeit University issued a statement describing what happened and condemning the assault as an attack against an educational institution.
