Abbas concludes official visit to Saudi Arabia, leaves to France

President Mahmoud Abbas Thursday ended a three-day official visit to Saudi Arabia and is heading to the French capital Paris.

During his visit, Abbas met with the Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir.

Upon arriving in France, Abbas is expected to hold talks with the French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris on Friday to discuss the latest developments in light of US President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and the transfer of his country’s embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
