Suffocation cases in clashes near Tubas

At least 15 Palestinians suffered from suffocation by teargas inhalation during clashes with Israeli forces in Sahl al-Biqeaa area, south of Tubas in the West Bank, WAFA correspondent said.

He said that five people, including Ahmad al-Asaad, acting governor of Tubas, were moved to a city hospital after they suffocated due to inhaling teargas that Israeli forces shot at them.

The 15 were among dozens of local farmers, land owners and community activists protesting against the daily Israeli violations.

Protesters waved Palestinian flags during the march and chanted anti-occupation slogans.
