Fatah International Spokesperson: Israeli Leadership is not a Partner for Peace

Fatah International Spokesperson Ziad Khalil Abu Zayyad stated today that there are no intentions that the current Israeli leadership and government is willing or have the ability to negotiate a real Peace deal that would end the historical conflict between the Israelis and Palestinians. Abu Zayyad stated that the Israeli Prime Minister seems to be more interested in making steps to prevent the establishment of a Palestinian State, the implementation of the Grand Jerusalem Israeli plan that aims to rule Palestinians in the city under an apartheid system and to increase the settlements building and industry in every possible way through the Palestinian lands.

“Israel’s settlements building policy is illegal and against the International Law – for that reason, the Palestinian leadership will make sure to do everything possible to send Israeli leaders in charge of settlements to face courts of law in the International Criminal Court. “Abu Zayyad said. The Fatah spokesperson warned the International community from staying silent while Israel continues to destroy the remains of the so called Two-States Solution and collectively punishes millions of Palestinians by banning them from their basic rights because of their ethnicity and national identity.

In relation to the Palestinian President last speech at the UN, Abu Zayyad said that Fatah and the Palestinian leadership will not accept to allow Israel to continue its occupation without paying a price for it and that there are hundreds of legal ways through the International Law and community to make Israel understand that occupation will have to end regardless of the shape of the solutions suggested including the possibility of the rise of the demand for equality for all the population living on the Historical land of Palestine if the Two-States solution remains denied and ignored by Israel and those who mediate for the peace process.
