Government says growing settlement activities undermine any chance of peace

The Palestinian government slammed on Monday the currently growing Israeli settlement activities in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, saying this could undermine any chance of reviving peace talks.

Spokesman of the government, Yousef al-Mahmoud, said these settlement activities aim to obstruct international efforts to revive peace talks between the Israelis and Palestinians. He blamed the Israeli government for any serious consequences that would arise as a result of this increase in settlement expansion.
