Israeli forces detain three Palestinians from Jerusalem, Bethlehem

Israeli forces between Thursday night and early Friday detained three Palestinians from East Jerusalem and Bethlehem cities, said WAFA correspondent and security sources.

Israeli police detained a 17-year-old Palestinian after storming his family home in East Jerusalem neighborhood of Silwan.

WAFA correspondent said police struck the detainee’s mother and brother, causing cuts and bruises across their bodies.

This came several hours after police detained a Palestinian man near East Jerusalem’s Shufat refugee camp purportedly for carrying a knife and intending to stab Israeli troops.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces conducted an overnight raid in al-Atan Street in Bethlehem city, detaining a Palestinian man.
