Thousands of protesters demand Netanyahu’s

Thousands of Israelis rallied on Saturday in different areas demanding the resignation of premier Benjamin Netanyahu over recent corruption charges leveled against him by the police, according to Hebrew newspapers.

Over 3,000 people gathered at night outside the home of Israeli attorney general Avichai Mandelblit in Petah Tikva city near Tel Aviv to protest his handling of the corruption investigations with Netanyahu.

It was the 38th consecutive week of such protests, with similar ones held in other Israeli areas.

More citizens joined the night protest against Netanyahu’s corruption in other areas, including Nahariya, Rosh Pina, Haifa, Afula, Hedera, Netanya, Kfar Saba, Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, Holon, Ness Ziona, Modi’in, Jerusalem, Ashdod, Kiryat Gat and Be’er Sheva.

In Tel Aviv, some 150 protesters called on Netanyahu to resign, waving signs reading, among others, “Enough with corruption,” “Goodbye to Netanyahu” and “A government of criminals.”
