President Abbas discusses unity with Hamas delegation

RAMALLAH – President Mahmoud Abbas discussed unity on Tuesday evening with a Hamas delegation he met at his Ramallah headquarters.

In addition to discussing unity and ending the internal Palestinian division, the meeting discussed as well the general situation in the occupied Palestinian territories particularly the recent developments in Jerusalem and efforts to preserve the historical and legal status at Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The West Bank Hamas delegation, headed by Nasser Eddin al-Shaer, included Mahmoud Ramahi, Mohammad Totah, Ayman Daraghme and Samir Abu Eisheh.
