• The Executive Committee of the Fatah Movement in Melbourne, in cooperation with a group of Palestinian associations, (Australian for Palestine , PCA ,Lebanese Future Party ,APAN, Famsy Victoria, Casey friends of Palestine, Comrades from the Socialist Alternative, Comrades from the Socialist Alliance, and Mr RevLan Smith the president of the Victorian Council of Churches) , held a solidarity stand with the Palestinian people in Jerusalem to protest the Zionist actions against Al-Aqsa Mosque last Wednesday at 6.30 pm in the Federation Square in downtown Melbourne
• A group of anti-Israel Zionists through social media outlets announced that they intend to attend the Palestinian demonstration and raise their flags. The official authorities were informed of this issue and insisted on the organizers not to change anything from the demonstration program
• as an eyewitness to the event about 200 people from solidarity groups among Palestinians and different Arab nationalities, as well as foreigners who bearing place cards and different flags were raised Flag of Lebanon, Algeria flag and of course the Palestine Flag and raise their voice to stop the Israel occupation and the Freedom for Palestine .
• The presence of dozens of Zionists against the destruction of the demonstration in the same place where the demonstrators raised the Israeli flags and cheering words that anger the protesters in solidarity in the place just meters from the steps of Flinders Street, a phalanx of police separated the two groups from a counter-protest .
• Concerns were raised that the demonstrations could turn violent, but the presence of heavy police kept the event peaceful and groups participating in the dialogue.
• Forgion media attention focused on coverage of the Zionist more than the Protesters sides.
• The Government treated the two teams with the same degree of protection and granted them the same rights and duties
• I say to all the world that Palestine is an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital. Freedoms for Palestine from the Israel occupation , for us we do not accept a half solutions, no cameras and no inspections to entry Al Aqsa
