Army units raid media offices in center of Ramallah

RAMALLAH – Israeli army units raided early Saturday media offices in the center of Ramallah and seized equipment, according to sources.

The soldiers broke into offices of Palmedia, member of the Palestinian telecommunications group, which provides broadcast services to several media outlets.

Reports said the forces broke into several media offices that work from Palmedia where they ransacked the offices and seized hard discs and other equipment.

Residents clashed with the Israeli forces, showering them with stones as army vehicles drove through Ramallah streets.
