QALQILIA – At least four Palestinians Saturday sustained rubber-coated steel bullet injuries as Israeli army violently suppressed a demonstration held in the town of Kafr Qaddoum, west of Nablus, in support of al-Aqsa Mosque.
The media spokesperson in Qalqilia, Murad Ishtiwi, said clashes broke out between Israeli forces and the town’s residents after the former raided the town and suppressed a demonstration organized by Fatah faction in support of al-Aqsa Mosque.
Israeli forces used tear gas canisters and stun grenades against the town’s residents injuring at least four people. They were all treated at the scene.
