Israel orders homeowners in refugee camp to stop construction

HEBRON – Israeli forces Tuesday ordered two Arroub refugee camp families to halt construction on their homes, according to Palestinian security sources.

They said staff from the so-called Israeli Civil Administration accompanied by a military escort broke into the camp and notified Ahmad Ghanem and Abdul-Fattah Jawabrah to stop construction on their homes.

The military also took pictures of two other homes in the camp located to the north of Hebron in the south of the West Bank apparently as a prelude to demolishing them.
